TRACY BULLOCK

Welcome to my world

Stories, scribbles and a little bit of magic — come join me.

A letter from Tracy

Hi,

What a treat it is to have you join me in my little space on the internet. When I was born the World Wide Web didn't exist, which probably makes me sound ancient!

Instead I spent lots of time with multi-coloured felt-tips, scribbling and doodling in my room. I wrote stories, songs, plenty of diary entries filled with angst, and at one point I tried to write a musical! But I didn't always know that I wanted to be a writer… or that I could be.

I tried several career paths first – theatre, teaching, a short stint in the city. (I am definitely more creative that corporate!) Finally, after having my own children, I set a goal – to write and have published a children's book.

My stories have won the SCBWI Slushpile Challenge and listed in the Searchlight Awards, Writing Magazine's Chapter Book Prize and WriteMentor's Children's Novel and Picture Book Awards. I'm represented by Rachael Davis-Featherstone from Creative Roots Studio.

I'm hopeful my debut children's book will be published very soon. I can't reveal any details yet, but I really hope you'll like it!

Love,

Tracy
